I had so much fun with this New Media project! I was able to get my hands on some shooting using the GoPro as well as take part in the editing. Delaney Brown and I split it up, one going at it full steam while the other helped, and then switched roles. It proved to be an effective process, since timing shots to the millisecond of the beat of the song would quickly become exhausting.
Concept
Sunsoft is a fictional line of brightly colored lipsticks for teens that are carefree, not afraid to express themselves, and love to have fun. We found that it would be too easy to sexualize a lipstick add with typical shots of brightly saturated moist lips, and instead we wanted to take the playful side of things.
