This footage was shot several years ago by Curtis Chevalier, who has many talents, but is not necessarily well-versed in technologically related equipment. I am not sure what dimensions the footage was shot in or if HD was enabled.
Considering the lens is dirty most of the time and the colors pretty dull because of the constant overcast, it has posed some interesting challenges. The dirty lens adds to the raw aspect of the footage, but I have had to make the video enticing by well placed transitions, adding animation in AE, as well choosing an appropriate song.
Next steps:
- Find ways to enhance footage in Premiere & AE
- Have a polished animated logo to start the video off
- Incorporate typography in the 2nd clip as well as the last clip to give a little more context
- Reduce intensity of transitions somehow.
